The Durham YMCA offers a two week Counseilor 'in Le adership Training pro- gram, designed specificaily for prospective counsellors. This program offers expert instruction by camp directors and YMCA direc- tor staff, detaile.d C.I.L.T. manuais and practical expe- rience. Ail participants take part in discussion & lecture ses- sions in addition topractical experience in working with children under the supervi- sion of trained directors & counsellors. Ail C.I.L.T.'s will attend one overnight. Ail participants are evalu- ated on an ongoing basis and made aware of their strengths as-well-as their weaknesses.
