There were 117 members from aii'parts of'Canada, United States and Holland for the 100 plus 5 Alumnae Reunion helM at the Ontario Ladies' College, Whitby, recently when the presenta- tion was nmade. The 105 year old Ontario Ladies' College name will become officially Trafalgar Castle School in September.-_ Discussing the coming change of name for the Ont- ario Ladies' College, in the College Common Room, is a group of O.L.C. Alumnae and a member of the Board of Directors. The Chairman of the Col- lege Board of Directors, Dr. John Davies, Whitb'y said at the 100 plus 5 Reunion that the Board recognized the contributions the Alumnae has given to the school. He told them that they are good wiIl ambassadors as well as contributing members to the Board. Mrs. Gray is a valuable member of 'the Board. ,Officially Ontario Ladies'* College becomes known as Trafalgar Castie School, in September of this year, Dr. Davies said. After 105 years as Ontarjo Ladies, College it will be little difficuit to change the name. The Board' not wanting to lose sight of the history of the building retained the name Trafalgar Castie. Sheriff Nelson Reynolds,- first sheriff of Ontario- County, was- forced to put his ho me, Trafalgar Castie up -for sale in 1873 to pay for his d ebts.
