Cross-Country finals on Monday, October 1Ê at Pettcot ark, Pickering. Whit by Senior Public School was represented by three fuil teams and three individuals who turned in some out- standing performances. Whitby's 13 year-old team of (pietured above from Ieft to riglit) Dawn Jones, Glenda Pye, Cheryl Napper andýLeslie Grill won the championship in their.age group. The boy's 13,year-old team place seventh ini the region af- ter winning their district meet. Team members included: Dave Aathko, Bill Sims, Tom Clements, Rob Tran and Bill 'Calan. - The boys open team of Darrin Taylor, Darrin Perry, Chris Williams, Jeff Beatty, Ken- Whitb and John - roughton also won their regional championsliip.
