According. to co-ordinator Marie Brooks Community Care served 18 new clients, had 12 new volunteers join their. staff bringing their total' complement to' 309 clients and 126 volunteers. Including board and office hours Community Care provided 771 hours of service and logged 5,550 miles of travel. -"Yard work, home repair, home help and visiting has increased this- month," Brooks said, "and *we have done our first sitting witb a senior. The long ýdistance driving is ýup, with 28 long distance drives being com- pleted." "Our subsidy driving 15 up but we are getting reimbur- sed by variousagencies for most of the cost, she said..
