The committee voted to recommend town officiais get together with a spokesman from the Toronto and ARea Transit Operating Authority (TATOA) to try and work out probiems that some say exist on the GO SYSTEM. "There have been com- plaints of overcrowding at the GO station and com- plaints of late Go buses and trains," said regionai coun- cilior Tom Edwards. "What we shouid do is get a whole package of com- plaints together and taik to a member of the TATOA. " Two weeks ago councillor Joe Drumm complained that the parking facilities at the Brock street south GO station were flot adequate. Angus Smith, a resident of Whitby, told council that on many occasions the GO train was late, even failing to, sh- wo up onl one occasion. Edwards suggested tijat the town get together with a memnber of the TATOA and regional chairman Gerry Herrema "at a time con- venient to us al." home this month.
