La chine and Henry hlighs team up to present concerts A band from La Chine High School of Montreal, Quebec and the Henry Street High School band and choir will be featured at a music concert this Friday night at Henry Street High School in Whitby. The fifty piece La Chine High School Band most recently won first place in the Montreal Music Festival under the direction of Ian Cochrane. Tickets for the event are family pass is $5, and can be purchased from Middleton's Book Store in advance or at the school on the night of the performance. The concert will begin at 8 p.m. As well, the La Chine band will play at the Whitby Mal Thursday, April 9 between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. At this time Mayor Bob Attersley will present the band with town pins.
