The Henry Street High School Music Band will be selling these licences on behaîf of the Town. These students will be identified as Town of Whitby Representatives. CHOO Coming Events l"REEDOM FROM SMOKING Durham Region Lung Association and the Oshawa Y.W.C.A. will co-sponsor 'Freedom from Smoking", a six session course aimed at helping smokers kick the nicotine habit and improve their physical fitness. The course will be held at the Y. W. C.A. Program building, (Simncoe Street S., Oshawa) for six consecutive Tuesday sessions from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m., c<mmencing April 21. Babysitting faciî-4ies -are available. During the programi participants will bu taughl how to identify situations <bat trigger"" smoking behaviour, how to understand their own smoking patterns and(Ihow to apply this knowledge 1<> the difficulties of smoking cessation. The second portion of each 90 minute session will he a physical fitness program with instructor [Donna Da vidson. A $35 registration fee is payable, of which $20 will be refunded by the Lung Association, following at- tendance at five of the six s-sions (this must include the first and last class).
