The Whitby Iroquois Swim Club earned another home victory in their spring meet this past weekend at the Iroquois Park Arena Pool, besting the three other com- peting pools. Chris Donnelly, 10, and Kim Walker were the WISC top swimmers at the meeting picking up four first and a third and three thirds and a fourth respectively. The Chatham Pool Sharks placed second behind the Whitby club. The Lakeshore Swim Club and the Port Hope Aquatic Club were the other two competing pools. David Goulding picked up three seconds and a third while sen'nor boys team mate John Aldridge earned him- self a second place finish. Jennie Connor was the top senior girls swimmer placing three seconds and a third place finish. Tammy Oates best finish was a second in the 100 metre breast stroke. Steve Currie won two f ir- sts, a second and a third place finish in the boys 13/14 category. Brian McAllinden picked up three seconds and a third while Jari.Olikainen placed second in the 100 metre breaststroke. Yashîn Blake placed first and third in his events for the same age group. Denise VanDoleweerd won a first and three second place ribbons in the girls 13/14 age group while Kelly Walker finished with a second and two third place finishes.
