Lacrosse, Builders i There are many signs of spring, the robins returning from Southern climes, pushing the dlock an hour forward, and the start of yet another season for the On- tario Lacrosse Association. This year marks the 94th year for the Association and it promises ta be one of con- tinued growth. Action for the four leagues in the 0.L.A. begins in the first and second weeks of May. The "Major" league will expand from 4 ta 6 teams with Owen Sound and Scar- borough "Mann Cup" Champions. Owen Sound should be giving Brampton a run for the money as they were the "National Senior" Cham- pions for the last 2 years. The "Senior" league of Orangeville, Wallaceburg, and Kincardine (formerly Port Elgin) will welcome Kitchener and Sarnia ta, their ranks. The departure of Owen Sound may mean a fruitful year for Orangeville. Whitby, the defending "'Minto Cup" Champions will go for the gold again in the "Junior A" league. They'll compete against the likes of Brampton, Elora, Etobicoke, Kitchener, Mississauga, Oshawa, Hamilton, and Peter- borough; Hamilton, Oshawa, Peterborough and Mississauga look like strong contenders in 1981. The largest league, the "Junior B" series wîll be slightly streamlined in 1981. Gone are Guelph, Brantford, and Windsor.
