Sunday, the 1st Brooklin Scouts will start the day off with a delicious pancake breakfast which will in- clude sausages, orange juice and coffee. Somehow the pancakes always taste better when eaten outside. A quarter horse show will be held all day Sunday. Fair organizers expect this year's beef cattle show to be the largest ever held in Brooklin. Also in the afternoon there is the sheep show, log sawing, nail driving contests. The Central Ontario Rabbit Breeders will have an exhibit of rabbits. The Metro Toronto Police tug of war will play the Durham Regional Police. The harness horse racing with pari-mutual betting begins at 1 p.m. There will be 9 races in all. At 7 p.m. the Old Time Fiddlers' Contest begins. The Stratford Rainbow Squares who have appeared on CBC's Tommy Hunter Show will delight the audience with their square dan- cing and step dancing. Also, the Godfreys will entertain in bet- ween contestants categories. Fair officials expect this year's attendance to exceed last year's record of over 20,000 people. This year children under twelve are admitted free. The midway with many exciting rides will be going strong each day of the fair. This year's Brooklin Spring Fair promises to be the best in its 70 year history. I Bath Tub Races The Brooklin Kinettes racing along with their bathtub last year in the annual Bed & Bathtub Race. The race this year takes place on Sunday, June 7th at .11:30 a.m., as part of the Brooklin Spring Fair.
