Two ITT workers to stand trial next year Two employees of Whitby's ITT Canon Electric will stand trial in provincial court in January on charges of public mischief. The charges were laid by Durham Regional Police after 10to 15 tires were set ablaze in front of the plant's driveway during a recent strike. Appearing in court on January 20 will be Jack A. Thompson, 26, of 371 Nassau Street, Oshawa, and Jack R. Cross of 95 Taunton Road East, Oshawa. Police said that the incident was just one of several that marred the lengthy strike.
