Recreating the role of Dorothy made famous by Judy Garland in the film version made in the late 1930s is Nicole Johnson. Hayley Drew portrays the Tinman with Scott Griffin taking on the role of the Scarecrow. Lisa Rostek is the villain in the play as the Wicked Witch of the West. The "Wizard of Oz" wil Ibe presented at the theatre in the Centenn- ial Building and boasts a cast of 42 ail of whom are under the age of 17. The County Town Singers wilI also be ap- pearing in the Santa Claus Parade which will be held this Saturday beginning at 10 ar. They will have their own float and be dressed in original costumes. They will also be sing- ing in front of the Cana- dian Imperial Bank of Commerce in downtown Whitby at 7:30 p.m. on December 18.
