January, 1982. Included in the New Year are programs for adults, children and pre- schoolers. Physical fitness classes such as dancer- size begin January 21. Cross Country. Ski will start Sunday, January 17 between 10 a.m. and 12 noon. Modern Jazz and In- door Golf will operate Thursday evenings starting January 28, Ladies Figure Skating will commence Wednes- day, January 20 from 10 to 11,a.m. For children four to six years, Hockey Learni to Play will offer the ab- solute beginner an op- portunity to learn skat- ing skills and basic puck handling. The program. operates on Thursdays at Brooklin Arena from 4:15 to 5 p.m. starting January 14. Hockey School for boys and girls 7 and over will concentrate on irnproving hockey tech- niques and power skat- ing skills. Children must have skating skills and wear protective equipment. The course starts Friday, February 5 and runs from 4 to 5 p.m. at Iroquois Park Arena. Pre-schoolers can participate with Mom or Dad in a variety of pro- grams. Creative Move- ment on Friday morn- ings 10: 15 to il a.m. in Whitney Hall at Iroquois Park is a musical time to learn fundamental movements and crea- tive play ideas. Pre-School Skating will be taught at Brook- lin Mrena on Friday af- ternoons fromn 2 to 3 p.m. or at Iroquois Park Arena on Wednesday mornings 9 to 10 a.m. The program runs for eight weeks starting January 20.
