Train hits truck No ont was injured when an eastbound Via Rail passenger train struck this 1978 Ford Ranger Pick-up truck at the Victoria Street CNR rail crossing last Thursday morning. According to the Durham Regional Police Force, the driver of the pick-up truck, Antony Busch of Whitby, was behind a larger vehicle when the warning bells sounded advising of the approaching train. Police said that the pick-up stalled and Busch quickly got out of his vehicle. Damage to the truck was estimated at $3,500.
