Drug s stolen, A large quantity of prescription drugs were stolen during a break-in at a downtown Whitby drugstore îast Thursday night. According to the Durham Regional Police Force, the Cour- tice-Allin Pharmnacy at 117 Brock Street-North was entered sometime during the night through 'the rear door. .Taken were a quantity 0f drugs* incîuding demerol and codeine, vaîued at $775. Also taken was $1,843 in small bills. The spokesman for the force added that $150 damage was done to the rear door and locks on the east side of the building when the thieves pried it open.
