YOU JUST CAN'T WIN Faced with the problem of what to do with six puppies, friends of our drove ail over town trying to give the away, with no succeas. Next, they took advantage of a free buy and sel program on a, local radio station and announced they had puppies to give away free. No one called. In a final attempt, they carted the. puppies to a local farmers market, put a sign up saying "pup- pies...$20 each", and sold every one in less than a half hour.
