CONGRATULATIONSi To Gerry Emm,,Tom Edwards, Bob Attersley, Joe Bugelli and Chuck Roche who have been ac- claimed to their positions on Town Council and School Board. Now that you are spared the time- consuming campaigning, maybe you could spend the week checking on problem areas within the town. Just to give you a hint: Powell Road topped the polis for the longest, bunipiest roller coaster in On- tario, narrowly beating out Canada Wonderland; new garbage dump, corner of Nicol and 1,Kendal- wood with smaller dumps dotted along Kendalwood to Gibb St.; lack of sidewallcs or boulevards along Kendalwood Road. Thanks to Bob Attersley, the lighting along Kendalwood has been corrected, but sidewalks along that busy street should be top priority.. There are no boulevards, and cars, speed- ing from Oshawa to the two plazas leave little or no room for pedestrians. Bowman Avenue is nothing to write home about. I could go on, but'that should keep you going for the week. Let's ail work together for the next three years and correct some of the neglected problems. 1 Il IEAJI
