The team won'the consolation aide of the Peterborough Beavis Tournament the week before.ý David Clarke led the way in the Newmarket game with a three-goal effort and an'assist on a fourth goal. Kevin Mit- chell 'and Justin Moore got, the other two markers. 1In 'the Saturday game, Pat & Mario's defeated their old rivais Ajax by a 4-2 score on two goals by Jaan, Luik. Troy McKay and Mike Wat- ters got the singles. In the opening game on Friday nlght,' Brooklin-Whitby defeat- ed the host Dundas team 4-2 on goals- by John Windover, Jaan Luik, Danny 'Pratt .and Justin Moore. Jaan' Luik, with his three goals and three assists was voted the most valuable player of the tournament, whiie Tommy-, Gosleigh, the Brooklin-Whitby alter- nate goalkeeper, was voted the most valuable netminder of the tourna- ment. The team travels to Býuffalo this weekend to take on Thobrnhill, Strat- ford and 'Kitchener in the annual Wheatfield Blades- Major Peewee Tournament. 'v
