Mike Gorman belted three bits for Whitby in defeat. Whitby led off the scoring in the second in- ning witb a pair of runs. Mark Renkiewicz doubled and scored on a triple by Les Moskalewicz, wbo in turn crossed home plate on a single - by Terry Kuchîrka. Oshawa scored two runs in the third inning and added two more in the fourth on a two-run round tripper by Wayne Hautren. They padded their lead to 7-2 in the fifth inning as tbey scored three more runs, highlightedý by Chris Kosciesza's two run triple.
