The junior team con- sisted by eight girls who were entering dom- petition for the first time this year. This was a major Toronto tournament and categories. Fourteen year old Trevor Crump,, whose toughest opponent was the dlock, dominated 13/14 boys events and recorded four gold, a silver and a bronze, aU with personal best times, to* daim the high point trophy for his age group. Outstanding in 10/un- der girls was Allison Bettridge- who raced to three gold medal per- formances, four silver and a bronze, and missed the trophy win by a mere margin. Also -in contention for trophies with par- ticularly strong perfor- mances was Michelle Primeau, 13, and first year competitor Steward Smith, 12. Both swimmers brought home a host of heavy metal.
