The aim of this meeting was to inform the com- munity of the benefits of ITC training. Guests attending were shown through ex- pianations from com- mentator, Germaine Barr, how each portion of an ITC meeting lias a special training values A lexieology by Ismay Needham, encouraged the audience to add new words to their vocabularies. The meaning of the word 'moratorium' was ex- plained, aiong with some humorous exam- ples of it's application; STraining yourself to think quiekly in spur of the moment situations, was the put-pose behind Jeannette Etter's presentation of "Table Topics".Members became auctioneers, trying to seil1, the audience everything from hats to 'spinning wheels. Shirley Mac- Donald was given the thumbs-up signal and won the "Table Topic" trophy. The highlgt 0f the evening was the special induction of a new member. . Vera Cailaglian, accepted the challenges '0f self- improvement, as the writer performed the ceremony. During the ceremony, members reflected, with pride, how far they had progressed since their own inductions. A variety of enter- taininent was provided as Dorothy Hart 'in- troduced the three speakers for the evening.
