PAGE 27 Here are last week's BrookLu3 Whitby hockey play resuits The following are the resuits of' last week's play by teams of the Brooklin Whitby Minor Hockey Association. In representative team play: The County Bowl Peewee No. 2 team dropped two games to Little N.H.L. teams. They lost to the Black Hawks 3-2, local goals by Jaret Stevens and Adrien Deveau. They also lost to the Canadians 3-1. Ron Imonaco scored for Whitby,. The Eastway Plymouth Chrysier minor peewees beat the L.N.H.L. 7-5 with goals from Drew Myers (2), Justin Cardwell (2), Derik Es, Jeff 'Tur- nhaifl and Jeff Eave.- They also lost to the Royal York Rangers 5-3. Scoring for Whitby were Ells (2), and Erie War- ner. Eastway downed Belleville 5-3, goals by Matt Sh earer (2), Euls, Brandon Smith, Myers. Tbey then lost to Ajax 5- 2. Whitby goals by Myers and Cardwell. They also lost to Pickering 6-3 with goals by Shearer and Robi Martin (2). The Algoma Apple Mart atoms lost to Toronto St. Mike's 7-3. Whitby goals by Jason Harold, and David Copeland (2). The Checkers Variety minor atoms defeated Peterborough 3-2 with goals by Kiley Moulton, Jamie Pogson and Scott MacDoneil. The Brooklin Sports Bantam No. 2 team downed Peterborough 6- 4. Scoring were Mike Peters, Jamie Stella, Paul Windover (2) And Rob Horan (2). The Whitby Optimist major bantams defeated Kingston 5-2. Goals by Troy McKay, Craig Fisher (3), and Justin Moore. They also beat Kingston Township 6-2. Goals by Mike Reler, Mackay, Don Pratt (2), Moore and Kevin Mit. cheil. The Brooklin Sports bantam lost to Stouf- fviile 5-3. Local goals by Mike Husted, Dave Clarke and Mike Wlliams. The Atom No. 2 team (Kristina Lee's) lost both their games. They were downed by Bowmanville 6-2 with goals by Jordi Johnston and Alasdair Syme.! They also lost t Pickering 3-o. The novice Hideaway team lost to Markham 3- 2. Scormng were Chris Howall and Jim Brown. The Whitby Atom Sélects beat Pickering 3-2. Scoring for Whitby were Stephen Wood (2) and Casey Bryant. The minor bantarn Select beat Ajax 3-1 with goals by Kevin Washer, Peter Defina and John Skolnik. However, they were soundly beaten by Bowmanville 6-2. Scoring were Defina and Mike Thom. The Brooklin Legion juvenile team tied with Oshawa 7-all. Goals by: Bill Chilton, Dan Love, Paul, Guest, John Phiilipsi, Stuart Broîl and Steve Vander- burghti. They then lost to Ajax 5-2.
