In representative team play: The Kristina Lee's Atom No. 2 teana handed Bowmanville a 7-5 losa on goals by ScottJensen M2, (3eoff Cadan (2), Jordi Johnston (2), and GordPlumber. In the Pickering Village tournament; Kristine Lee's bast their first game 2-1 to the Lit- de N.H.L. Red Wings in overtime. However, they won their second game, 2-0 against Ajax on goals by Johnston and Sean Gawley. Ear- ning the shut-out was Jesse Wilson. In the consolation round, Whitby lost to Pickering 4-2. Local goals were scored by Johnston and Cadan. The Checker's minor atoms doubled Markham 2-1 last week on goals by Brodie Richards and Kiley Moulton.,They went on to lose to Pickering 3-2 with Brian Mederios picking up both Whitby markers. However, they went on to down Ajax 4-1 on goals by Mederios, Moulton (2) and Paul LeClaIr. They also lost to Peterborough 2-0. However, they put in an excellent perfor- mance at the Welland tournament, losing only the final game. They started off defeating Grimsby 3-2 on goals by Moulton, Scott Mac- Doneli and Mark Babony. Then they handed St. Catherines a 4-0 loss on goals by Babony (2), LeClair and Jamiie Allison. After that, they vic- timized Goulding Park in a "- victory with Moutlon (2), Mederios, LeClair and. Babony sharing the goal scoring duties. But in the final, they lost a narrow 5-4 to Welland. Scoring for Whitby were Moulton (3) and MacDonmell. The Eastway Plymouth Chrysier minor peewee team had a rough week losing first to Cobourg 7-1 (goal by Justin Cardwell) and Oshawa 7-0. They dld manage a 4-3 win over Coibourne on goals by Shawn Reagan, Derik Ellis, Cardwell and Rob Martin. However, they ended the week with a 3-2 loss to Ajax with Martin and Ells picking up the Whitby markers. The County Bowl peewee no. 2 team slid by Uxbridge 6-5 on goals by Johnny Emm (2), Vince Seleto (2), Todd Wood and Jamie Brousseau. The Pat and Mario's major peewee squad won two big games ln a row beating AJax 4-3 and Peterborough 5-4. Scoring in the Ajax game were Darrin Lee (2), Mike Fulton ind Grayson Hifford. Fultrrn (3) led the scoring against Peterborough with the other markers picked up by Dave Weir and Greg Cooper. The Brooklin Sports bantam team went al out to hand Ajax an overwhelng 10-O defeat last week. Scoring were Steve Wlng (4), Paul Noble (2), Sean WhltçI1ead (2), Dave Clarke and Milce Williams. They then went on to defeat Markham 7-1 on goals by Jerenxy Stella (2), Rob Horan (2), Williams (2) and Brian MacDonnell before going on to beat Ajax a second time 5-1 and Ux- bridge 4-2. In house league play: NOVICE Showcase Video doubled Double 'N' Fish and Chips 6-3 on goals by Matthew Muir (3), Derek Young (2) and Clay Whyte. Respon- ding for Double 'N' were Robert Simpson, Neil Yetman and Shawn Mason. Whitby Mail Video slid by the Brooklin Kmn- smen 3-2 on goals by Corey Bayford (2) and Brian Lodge. Answering for Brooklin were Mike Hogan and Cory Brick. SQUIRTS The Kings downed the Nordiques 4-2 on goals by Brad Oliver (2), Brett Barnett and Shane Terry. Responding were Gavin Finders and Aaron 1 elton. The Whialers dumped the Flyekýs 4-1 on goals by Tyler Derek (3) and Craig Lanneger. Making the lone respon- se was Brian Smith. The Canadians over- whelmed the Black Hawks 10-2 on goals by Kraig Maich (4), Ryan Watson (2). Andrew Sorichetti, Kristoffer Olley, Steve Jedlnak and Steve Moss.
