MONTE CARLO NIGHT The parents' committee of St. Paul's and St. Theresa's separate schools will sponsor a Monte Carlo Night on Saturday, FEb. 2 at 8 p.m. at Holy Cross Parish Church hall. There wiil be a variety of games of chance, dan- cing, hot and cold buffet at 12:30 a.m. Admission is $10 a person. By CECE WAGAR The Whitby Jaycettes were kept busy during the past December. Tbey rented Santa Suits to aspiring Santas. They assisted the Witby Jaycees during their Santa Claus Parade. Dec. 8, by serving bot chocolate and cookies to the parade participants. Later that day, Santa and is Jaycette belpers visited and presented Christmas goodies to the residents at Fair- view Lodge. Tbey also provided the Salvation Army witb 48 personal packages for needy aduits. Dec. 9, <bey treated their families <o an evening visit <o Culien Gardens and Miniature Village. To round out <lie holiday season, tbey relaxed with their Christmas dinner and social and attended o business at their mon- tbly general meeting. Both <ese events were held in members' homes. January may not have been as bectic, but was equally interesting and rewarding. Their mon- <lly meeting was held Jan. 23 in a memnber's home. "Jaycee Week" is Jan. 27 <o Feb. 2. Part of the following programs took place during <is week. Tbey are participating in their second calligraphy course given by a Jaycette for Jaycettes. And for the cbronic care unit at J.O.
