For close to 300 em- ployees at the site it mneans that they have worked 926 calendar days and more than 1.4 million man hours without an employee having lost time because of a work related injury. The last time an employee missed a shift because of an injury was 1983, February. Jim Stewart, Du Pont's vice-president of manufacturing joined the site in recognizing the event. The Whitby plant, located on South Blair St., makes "Sclairfilm" polyethylene film and "Dartek'" nylon film primarily for the food packaging industry, and "Vexar" plastic netting for a wide range, of packaging, fencing and f ilter applications. welI.
