I have caught a glimpse of that glory fromn which He came when the grace of His forgiveness cancels the guilt of a man's con- science and assures him that he is free. Christ, the light is in the world but the world does not recognize Hlm. The prophet Zechariah speaks to Israel with these words also. Israel was back home after the cap- tivity, looking ahead to the comning of the promised Messiah. With boid strokes now the prophet paints a picture of spiritual renewal sweepîng the coun- tryside when he states: "On that day there shaîl be inscrîbed on the belîs of the horses, 'Holy to the Lord' ... and every pot in Jerusalemn and Judah shall be sacred to the Lord of hosts." Zechariah 14:20,21 Look, there are farmers, walking along behind their horse drawn ploughs, breaking new ground. The harness bells are inscribed with the words, 'Holy unto the Lord." In other words, even cultivating the earth, the source of our daily bread, is service of the Lord for the good of His people. Zechariah comes even dloser to home.
