John Avery, 23, of 607 Athol St., Whitby bas been charged with four break-ins to Bailey's Pharmacy on Brock St., one break-in at Brock Pharmacy, one break-in at Checkers Variety and two break-mns at Beaver Lumber. The former in- cidences occurred within the last two weeks, while those at the luniber store took place sometimne last month. Charged with possession of stolen property, related to the Frorn page 6 above offences is 52- year-old John Napolitano and 49-year- old Patricia Napolitano, both of 265 Main St., Toronto. According to police, the arrests were made at the home of Avery, after police surrounded the house and a team of officers moved in and escorted the accused persons out. Avery was scheduled n nfflr in Whithv provincial court for a bail hearing Friday. Police say that the main items stolen in the recent break-mns were narcotic drugs such as Novahistex, though a quantity of cigarettes and other small items were also taken. The stores were entered in most cases, through the front door windows which had been smashed.
