On Jan. 21 there will be two seminars, one about how to evaluate a smnall business and the second will be concer- ned with how to finance a small business. For more information caîl 668-2648. LEARNING DISABILITY SEMINAR The Durham chapter of the Head Injury Association 0f Canada will be meeting Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 7 p.m. in the Oshawa General Hospital. Everyone is welcome to attend. On Saturday, Jan. 18, the Association for the Neurologically Disabled will be staging a special seminar at the Ramada Hotel on Dixie Rd. just south of the 401 in Mississauga. The topic should be of interest to many members of the Head Injury Association or anyone else with an interest in learning disabilities or neurological disorders. Mr. John Unruh, Clinical Director at the Centre for Neurological Rehabilitation in Pen- nsylvania will be delivering a paper en- titled Learning Disabilities: A Home Rehabilitation Ap- proach. TRAPPING DISCUSSION Whitby and Oshawa parents/ratepayers con- cerned about trappers propagandizing in public elementary schools should come to a special meeting Friday, Jan. 10, 7:30 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. il, 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Whit- by Public Library Auditorium. A speaker from the newly formed organization Teachers Against Propaganda will screen "Cry from the Wild" featuring commentary by David Suzuki - a discussion will follow. NIGHT SCHOOL REGISTRATION Registration for win- ter night school courses at Anderson Collegiate will be heid Monday, Jan. 13 and Tuesday, Jan. 14 between the hours of 7 and 9 p.m. at the high school. New general interest courses which will be of- fered beginning the week of Jan. 20 Will in- clude ballroom dancing, bridge, fitness for men and women, pool care, photography and speed reading.
