Teams in. the Petite, Tween and Belle divisions participated. Visiting. teams came from Scar- borough, London, Metcalf, Lindsay, Markham and Warkworth. Whitby teams were entered in ail three divisions. The tournament was a two day event, each team playing three games. The winners in each division were decided by total points. In the Belle Division, Metcalf was the overaîl winner, with London taking second place. In Tween play, Lindsay won ail three of their games, totake first place. Markham and Whitby battled to a tie for second place, however, die breaking procedures allowed Markham to take -GIRLS SOFTBALL The Whitby Girls Sof- tball ,League will- be holding registration at the Iroquois Park Arena on Feb. 8 and 15 from 9 to12 a.M. The players and parents ail had a great time, the games were fast paced and exciting, and the players made many new friends and are eagerly looking forward to the next tournament, where they will probabiy encoun- ter each other once more.
