A highlight of the evening was the inter- jection of the COSSA Track and Field results. In the best showing by DO'C in quite some time, the statistics tallied one first, two seconds and a fourth. Mario Skara, DO'C's MaIe Track Athiete of the Year, placed first in the midget boys' hur- dles and second in the midget boys' jaVelin. Keith Burke placed second in the midget boys' high jump and the midget boys' relay team. of Mario Skara, Keith Burke, Ralph Calasunoon and Sean Vegter placed fourth. Ail now qualify for the Eastern Regionals. Deb Nolan,- another track- star, was the récipient of the Top Female Track Athlete of the Year Award,. The talent did not stop there. Jenny Hiemstra and Don Uren were presented with the Top Femnale and Top Maie Musicians of the Year Award. Congratulations to one and aIl. The finale came with the, announcement of next year's Student Council Executive. Frank Pulumbarit is our new President, Vicki Reason is our new Treasurer, Sean -Devereaux is our new' Secretary and Tracy Fernandez is our new Social Convenor.
