Shawn Manella scored for Turul in a defense dominated game that was tied 1-1 at the haif. The oniy points lest by Lil Bo Peep i league action has been to this same Whltby teamn but the tie la stili enough to, allow Turul to remain at the top of the league just ahead of Oshawa Kicks. Another Turul team enjoying top of the league honours i the under 159 (Parkview I.G.A.) and they showed their right to be there by defeating the Turul un- der 149 (Shoppers Drug Mart> by a score of 6-1. The younger Turuls stayed wlth I.G.A. in the first haif tradling only 1- 0 i a goal by Matt Davie. But the under 15s added two more mid- way through the second haif before Patrice Pare netted Shoppers oniy goal.
