SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 29 A TIME FOR GIVING This is a ver-y important day in the downtown as many of theWhltby community organizations and charity groupa will be in the downtôwn to raise funda for those who"are leas fortunate or suffering from a serious ilinesa. Tables will be set up downtownwhere you can find the charity you would like to support an~d give a minimum donation, of $1.00 . For your donation, you will receive 'a coloured Christmas light to put on the Christmas Tree of Hope at the ffre station. Each donation wil replace a white bulb on the tree and the goal la to have a conxpietely coloured tree by the end of.the day. While you are downtown have a ride on one of the horse drawn buggies throughout the downtown or listen to the Christmas carolers with a cup 0f hot appleceider.
