Whitby maintained the lead throughout the fast-moving contest. Leanne Ellis and Paula Barrack each had two goals with singles to Mary Lou Spencer and Tammy Bates. Bates also earned two assists while. Barrack and Spencer each had one assist. Barrack and Ellis each -had four goals in a 12-4 win over Ajax in the Pickering Village arena on Monday. Spencer scored twice with singles to Bates and Michelle Fowlle. Fowlie also, had four assists. Kelly Caldwell, Rita Bourke, Joanne Dewit and Andy Brant turned in good defensive efforts for Whitby.
