Durham Region budget. preparation already begins March, but Durham Region is taking no chances that the 1988 budget wilI not be ready for finalization at the time due. The long process has already started at Durham Region to prepare next year's budget and a four-year projection from 1989 to 1992. Staff at the Region's various departments have already handed in their budget forecast for the up- coming year, 'as well as their 10- year capital forecasts.
