TOWN JAYNE LANGLOIS - TOWN 110 Dundas East 668-3410 Obituary Gwenidolyn Bernice Gascoigne of Oshawa died on Oct. 2, 1987 -in Oshawa. She was 60. She was born in Dresden, Ont. on Sept. 10, 1927, daughter of Wilbur and Leone (Wiese) Bresett. Both predeceased her. She married Gerald E . Gascoigne on Oct. 4, 1969. Mrs. Gascoigne was an employçe of Bell Canada in Oshawa. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary branch 112 of the Royal Canadian Legion in Whitby and St. John's Anglican Church, Port Whitby. She is survived by sons Gary and Gregory, grandchildren Todd, Chris, Justin and sister Betty. Mrs. Gascoigne was predeceased by sister Micheline. Funeral services were held from the W.C. Town Funeral Home Chapel, Whitby, conducted by Rev. Stanley Isherwood. Interment in St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery, Whitby. Crime Stoppers Crime Stoppers and Durham Regional Police are asking for the public's help in solving somne of the break and enters which are oc- curring in the region. To date, there have been more than 2,500 break and enters. A recent example is a break and enter at 65 Sherwood Rd. E., Ajax, where the following items were stolen: seven guns, color TV, VCR,, receiver, amplifier and turntable and telephone answering machine. Many of these stolen items are being sold cheaply. If you know of any stolen property or suspect any item is stolen give us a caîl. You couid be eligible for a cash reward of Up to $1,000. You will neyer be required to give your name or appear in court.
