Tournament wmn for Roy's A Whitby minor novice house league team won a tournament in Pickering over the Christmas holidays. ROY 's Enterprise defeated Ajax 8-3 in the final as Jason Hotchkiss and Chris Hey each scored three goals while Jason Irwin was named most valuable player. Johnathon Clancy had earlier earned a shutout as Roy's downed another Ajax teamn 7-0. Hotchkiss and Ryan 0'Le&ary each had three goals in a 6-3 win over Pickering in the first game. MeLean, Harbaruk reac'h natiorials' The Whitby Figure Skating Club has two representatives at this year's Canadian Figure Skating Atoms edged in final game Whitby minor atoms reached the finals of a recent tournament in Newmarket before falling to Miltdn 3-2 ini the final. Brian Scott was the most valuable player in Whitby's first gaine, a 4-1 win over Richmond Hill. Brian Lodge took honors in a 4- 0 win over-Kitcheper while Steven Biais was most valuable in a 4-3 overtinie over Ajax. Lodge was named valuable in the final.- Championships now underway in Victoria, B.C.- Chris McLean and Betty Har- baruk, a novice dance teain, earned the right to compete by placing first SKI MEETING The Pine Ridge Cross Country Ski Club will hold their next general meeting on Feb. 1 at Fernhill Park Clubhouse, Fernhill Blvd., Oshawa.
