She was born in Matane, Quebec, on April 15, 1899, daughter of Joseph Dion and Leda Lafrancois. She married Abe Nelson on September 7, 1918. A former Cochrane, Ont. resident, Mrs. Nelson lived in Whitby for 17 years and was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church. She is survived by daughter Grace Jeffrey and sons Wallace Nelson and Murray Nelson, grandchildren Dan Craig, Brenda craig, Peter Jeffrey, David Jeffrey, Jarrent Jeffrey, Robin Nelson, Leighton Nelson, Abe Nelson and Marie Nelson. Also survived by sister Delvina and brother Ovide. She was predeceased by her husband and daughter Lyda Craig, three brothers and three sisters. The funeral was held from St. John the Evangelist Church on March 24, 1988, conducted by Father Bernard Wilson. Inter- ment at *St. Francis the Sales in Pickering. LLOYD T. GLOSTER Lloyd .T. Gloster of Whitby died on March 12, 1988, as a result of a car accident in Bownianville. Hiewas 33.. HOWARD JOHNSTON Howard Oliver Johnston of' Bewdley, Ont., formerly of Whitby, died on March 29, 1988 in Port Hope. He was 62. Hie was born in Whitby on April 9, 1925, son of Walter Johnston and Margaret MacDonald.
