Grants for new schools FROM PAGE i to Anderson CVI, Dr. Robert Thornton, Pringle Creek and Leslie McFarlane schools in' Whitby. Grant Andrews, superintendant of business for the separate sehool board, said he was "pretty happy" with the grant. He said the separate board had asked for $50 million in funding. Andrews said the school in West Lynde will be used as a French first language secondary sehool until the new high sehool is built. The West Lynde facility will then become an elementary school.
