Sullivan Invitational floor hockey tourn- ament put on by the Durhamn Family YMCA on the weekend. Teams from Ontario and the United States participated in the two-day tournanient held at G.L. Roberts school in Oshawa. Whitby lost in the junior division finals by a scôre of 7-2 to Wattle's Park, a teani from Michigan. Scoring for Whitby was Jamie Crooks and David Dawson. On their way to the finals, Whitby lost to Wattle's Park in their flrst gaine 12-2 and to Scarborough 2-1. Ryan Flesch had the lone Whitby goal in the game against Scarborough. Jeremy Turner and Aaron Binksnia had the Wvhitby goals in the gaine against Wattle's Park. Whitby was then forced to win its next game to make it into the finals. They played Windsor, defeating theni 5-1. Jeremy Turner had two goals while singles went to Barry Melien, Ryan Flesch and Aaron Binksma. Jason Holweg was strong in net for the Whitby squad. Whitby's intermiediate teain didn't fare as well winning their first game of the tournament then losing their next two. Jamie Neault had the shutout as Whitby defeated Wattle's 4-0 in their first game.
