Stuart Craig, Andy Finri and Dave Kimmerly had other tries while Doug McConkey kicked a convert and a penalty shot. Vikings second teain also erased Markham's second team 29-0 as Brian Brittain scored three tries. Checker 's.ties Ajax2m,2 Checker's Variety, Whitby's Atom under 9 rep soccer team played their first season game with the Ajax Warriors recently. Both teams played vigorously in the first haif. At half time the Ajax team had a two goal lead. Whitby's defence rallied in the second haif and the center fielders kept the bail pinned in Ajax's end throughout the next thirty minutes. Whitby's determination resulted in a hard earned goal by Michael Magee. Stacey Trucking wins two games Stacey T)rucking swept two games from Oshawa Legion Brewers in Durhamn Service Club Old Timers Lob bail on the weekend. Stacey won the first game 10-1 with Randy Denyer hitting two doubles and going three for three in the bal] game. Larry Batherson also added a homne run and a double for Stacey. In the second. game, Stacey Tr'iuckers scored three runs in the first inning and four more in the fourth to put -the game away, eventually winning 10-2. Rob Maguire had a solo home run for Stacey. Oshawa Vikings have advanced to the second.round of . the McCormak Oup. following a 22-3 win. over Ottawa Beavers last Saturday. The Vikings will now face Toronto Welsh in JuIy. Pete Clayton, Mark Gibeault and Tony Scquarcitto had trys for Oshawa. Scquarcitto also kicked two penalties and two converts.
