JOHN'S ANGLICAN CHURCH Port Whitby Built in 1846, Saint John's Anglican Church is built of coarsed rough cut Kingston limestone which was carried as ballast in sailing ships returning to Whitby harbour. It is a fine example of a comparatively early Gothic Revival church.
