Lambert, Mark Haynes and Coppolino scored in a 3-0 win over Markham. Whitby loost 4-0 to Scarborough before defeating Newmarket 5-2. Against Newmarket, Haynes scored twice and Jason Schleiffer, Carmelo Subrizi and Sorenson hhd singles. One goal stood between Whitby and a berth in the finals, as Chingacousy edged out the Whitby squad. The two were also members of a team that droVe in the 24-hr. endurance race at Mosport on the weekend. Clark said their team was running l6th in the race when one of the drivers had an accident at 6 a.m. "kt was not a very good weekend, said Clark, who now travels to Shannonville for the next race in the GM'series. He hopes to race in the GT3 seisnext year, which involves driving Nissans and Datsuns in the United States. "I want to race the Indy Cart series and this is a good stepping-stone," said Clark, whose father owns Family Kartways in Brooklin.
