Brumley won the bantamn (age 13 and 14) 80-metre hurdies, with a time of 11.86 seconds, and was second in the 100-metre race with a time of 11.6 seconds. He was third in the long jump with a leap of 5.49 metres, and was also fourth in the 300-metre hurdies with a time of 47.87 seconds. Jason Bacchiochi of Whitby won two silver medals in bantam competition, taking second in long jump with a distance of 5.53 metres and second in bigh jump with a height of 1.61 metres. Adrian Woodley of Whitby won a bronze in the bantam triple jump, with a distance of 10.85 metres. He was also third in his heat for the 200m run, while Scott McTavish ofWhitby was fifth in the final fo the event. Woodley was third in the heats for the 100m in which another Whitby runner, Matt Davis, was fifth in the final.
