Whitby teacher on federation executive Lloyd White, vice-principal at Leslie McFarlane public school in Wbhitby, 'was elected Aug. 18 to the 1O-person provincial executive of the Ontario Public School Teachers' Federation. The election took place at the federation's annual, assembly, held at the Constellation Hotel, Toronto.1 In thecourse of bis 24 years of professional, experience, White has taughtl ail grades fromn kindergarten to Gr. 8. lie has also served as pro'gram consultant and was, seconded to the position Of assistant to thesuperinte 1ndent of curriculum. White has been a vr active member of bis professional community, both at the district and at the provincial levels. He is currently first vice-president, of Durham District OPSTF and lhas been a member of several provincial federation committe es. White is married and has one daughter.
