Brian Vinent scored three goals and had two assists, Scott Young scored twice, with si ngles to Andrew Starnes, Mark Haynes, Paul Gray, Chris Kerr and Steven Death. Paul Gray and Darryl Lewis each had two assists. Josh Evans and Bilan Harri- son shared the shutout. Jason Hotchkiss scored twice as Whitby won its second garne 5-2 over Georgetown. Paul Gray and Brian CrilIy had unassisted goals, while Bilan Crouch had the other on a play from Scott Young. In a close, hard-checking game, Whitby edged St. Thomas 2-1 in the semi- final. Evans was superb in net. Haynes and Youngz scored for Whitby, both assisted by Crouch. Whitby started slowly and had to corne fromn behind to win the final against Stoney Creek. In a rough contest, Gray, Kerr, Jason Irwin, Crouch and Young scored. Gaining assists were Lewis, Crouch, Hotchkiss, Steven Death and Bilan Crilly.
