Minor inj urites iin accident A Brooklin man was treated, for minor injuries to bis rigbt arm after he was bit by a van while attempting to stop the driver from taking two doors from his home. According to Durham Regional Police, the two men were invol- ved in a civil matter over the doors. Gerhard Richard Jung, 48, of 4505 Anderson St., was hit whei, he attempted to stop the driver of the van from going through a set of front gates. Christmas, is a time of happiness and joy, but for many tbis year there is a sadness in their hearts. This was the first Christmas without friend Fred Marconi. Atbough many did not know Fred by naine, for many years he and his wife brought the Christmas spirit te our littie church. A whole generation of children grew up with Fred watcbing over them. The Christmas tree planted last spring, in memory of Fred, is decorated with bright ligbts as a reminder of bis generous spirit of Christmas.
