Wib Osbawa then handed Wib an 8-3 loss, with Dempsey gei- ting two goals and Peacocke onp. Dempsey scored five goals aij Peacocke three in a 10-7 w:ý,n over Pickering in the third gage, Lisa Vanderlip getting the othor two goals. Vanderlip scored four goals and Dempsey two in a 7-3 deci- sion over Scarborough. Jenniet Cowan had the other goal in the victory that put Whitby in the final.f Vanderlip and Dempsey each Aj ax teams win Whitby tournament Ajax teams won both the atkm and peewee divisions of the Whitby Optimist hockey tourna- ment Dec. 26-28. The Whitby Optimists, one of eight Whitby house league teams in the peewee division, went al the way to the final captured by Ajax Morton Chemical 8-3. Two Whitby bouse league atom teams reached the semi-finals before Ajax teams prevailed to set up an alI-Ajax final. SivilI Contracting lost 4-3 to Do Realty in one semi-final while Speedy Muffler lost 6-4 to Colonial Pools in the other encounter.
