PAGE 21 Chalk Lake Spring p arking lot will c*ost $ 140,000 As part of its 1989 general levy budget, Durham Region has set aside $140,000 to build a parking facility near the popular Chalk Lake Spring on Lakefield Rd. (Re. R. 3) in Dagmar. During a review of the budget at a works committee meeting lait week, councillors agreed the parking lot needs to be built but disagreed over the location. Bill Price, manager of design and construction in the works department, said staff favored buildin the lot on the west side of eg.O.23.
