Federal Business Development Bank's (FBDB) women entrepreneurs advisory commnittee for Ontarlo. She joins 13 other women entrepreneurs from througbout the province. The role of the committee is tc examine the concerns, needs and unique challenges - faced by women starting or running their own smafl or medium-sized business and Wo provide reconimendations Wo FBDB on how the Bank can better serve women entrepreneurs. According to 1986 Statiétics Canada figures, there bas been a 20-per cent increase in the number of women business owners since 1981. Another cook is coming from Vienna. The cakes are also available on order for special occasions, in various sizes and variations. Von Bun said two days' notice mini- mum is the best advance order- ing time, and she will give price estimates on the catering job. Most of her clientele are busi- ness people working in the down- town area, but she hopes to attract a variety of patrons witb extended hours and witb a din- ner menu Friday and Saturday Cheis quite modest about ber operation, but concluded, "We want people to corne in and see for tbemselves."
