Fromn Whitby are Heather Boyd,,Autumn Davîdson, Helen Dewar, Julie Lacy, Michelle Mac- Carl, Jennifer Stein, Erin Sweeney Meghan Udaîl and Heather Wright and fromn Brook- lin is Jennifer Carne.crmn Guest speaker at L ermn was Barbara Fox, a former gui- der in central area-Oshawa and now a member of the Trefoil' Guild. She bas been district coin- missioner, division commander, division camp advisor, area camp advisor, provincial camp commis- sioner and a member of the national camp committee. The main subjects of hier address were changes in guiding she has seen, the lOOth year of Lady Baden-Powell's birth, and the occasions, such as rallies, when they met. Pathfinders are aged 12 to 15. To earn Canada Cords, girls must complete challenges in the three stages of bronze, silver and gold, relating to the camping, community, home, outdoor, world and 'Be Prepared sections of the prorarn. Tey must also: - arrange a weekend camp including organizing, ýshopping and paperwork; - make a visual or audiovisual presentation usinýg equipment such as slide, movie or overhead projector, or VCR or tape recor- der; - make minor home repairs; - investigate the insulating properties of materials for winter scouts will go% to jamboree Members of the 3rd and 4th Whitby scout troops will be among thousands of scouts who will attend the jamboree at Fort Amherst, P.E.I. in July. "It's once in a lifetime, really, says Gord Archer, one of the scouts who will attend. His father, David Archer, will be patrol leader. Joining the Archers will be Adami Goucher, Jeremy Town, Jason Price, Ronnie Morrison, Geoif' Houghton, Ken Neimann and Trevor Jamieson.
